These four books follow the lives of two Yorkshire farming families through the involvement of their kids in dirt bike riding, scrambling and motocross from the 1950's to 2000 spanning three generations of off-road biking enthusiasts and highlighting the changes and development of off-road bikes.

Following the story of two neighbouring farming families near Whitby in East Yorkshire through the involvement of their kids in dirt bike riding and scrambling as they grow and learn the skills needed to progress. Who of the two boys and two girls will turn out to be the champion riders?

Now both 16 and sweethearts, Jack and Susan start their racing careers in motorcycle scrambling, which attracts the attention of the television media while their dad David, acquires a large herd of llamas and alpacas which turns their farm into a tourist attraction virtually overnight.

Jack and Susan regularly compete in BBC Grandstand motocross meetings and are now amongst the top fifty riders in England. The development of the farm continues with an ice cream parlour and café, B&B facilities and many unusual animals on display. It's hard work but they still find time to develop a range of kids mini 50cc scramble bikes.

Over the last six years Jack and Susan have married and produced two kids of their own. The farm is a well established enterprise being run by a manager as the sales of their kids 50cc mini motocross bikes have enjoyed worldwide success. They also own their own motocross track plus a twenty five acre disused chalk quarry.
