Set in the 1960's the four Hickman kids have their own practice track on the family's mushroom farm, which is located on an old World War II airfield in Northern Lincolnshire. Two of the lads, Simon 14 and Norman 13, are into solo bikes and the two youngest, Jeff 9 and Linda 10 are into sidecar racing and ride a specially built sidecar outfit made just for kids.
Simon accompanies his friends; Jed who races a modified Honda CB92 and Martin when he races his Manx Norton's at Cadwell Park, Oliver's Mount, Carnaby and even Silverstone and other tracks.
This book follows the four kids as they grow up and develop their own riding and racing skills around their own track.
An interesting family motorcycle story with a difference.
